Administrator - Patrick McManus, has worked in Long Term Care Administration for 20 years following an early career in Hospital Administration. He has worked in Facilities across the country in the capacity of Hospital or Facility Administrator. Patrick brings vast knowledge and experience to his new position. He strives to seek new opportunities and educate himself to further his career in the Long Term Health Care Field.
Social Service Director - Jeana Livingstone, LSW, has joined the health care team at Poet's Seat Health Care Center. Jeana has worked in Franklin County for the past 15 years. Her extensive experience includes working at Baystate Franklin Medical Center as a Case Manager and Discharge Planer. Jeana's duties included assisting patients and their families in the difficult decision around short and long-term geriatric care. Jeana is also very familiar with referrals bock into the community and to hospice. She is dedicated to help ease the burden for residents and their families. Jeana strives to safeguard the autonomy and ensure quality care within the facility. She follows a resident's discharge while working closely with the interdisciplinary team at Poet's Seat Health Care Center.
Director of Admissions - Christine Pineo, has worked in the health care field for almost 30 years. She has worked as an Ombudsman for a local Long Term Care Facility for several years. Christine is active in several community organizations serving on the Boards for the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Massachusetts and on a patient Advocacy panel for a National Corporation. Her goal is to help residents and their families to make the admission process to Poet's Seat Health Care Center pleasant and informed and to work closely with management to maintain autonomy for the residents. Director of Nursing - Megan Wheeler, RN, has been an integral part of Poet's Seat Health Care Center for over nine years working in supervision, staff development and infection control. Her previous experience includes offering strong clinical guidance in the areas of sub-acute care, psychiatric care, hospice and end of life care. Megan is dedicated to providing quality care while ensuring dignity and
independence to the elderly by working closely with the interdisciplinary team here at Poet's Seat Health Care Center.
