Poet’s Seat Inpatient Pulmonary Center is aimed at helping people who suffer from chronic lung conditions to breathe easier, and to help patients understand and manage their condition by providing education and support. Our team consists of an on-site pulmonologist, and a respiratory therapist working with our competent specially trained nursing and rehabilitation staff. Our goals are to develop a coordinated plan to address the individual needs of each respiratory patient and maximize clinical outcomes, coordinate community transition and reduce hospital re-admissions.

As the only center of its kind in the area, The Pulmonary Center at Poet’s Seat encompasses an integrated approach to wellness for people of all ages. Our program includes a newly upgraded Pulmonary Rehab wing, designed specifically for those with pulmonary disease or related conditions. The Pulmonary Center includes:

Professional Care
The Pulmonary Center at Poet’s Seat has respiratory therapy on site 5 days per week, and on call 24 hours a day. Our Pulmonologist will make weekly rounds, and work directly with respiratory therapy to maximize clinical outcomes, coordinate community transition and reduce hospital re-admissions.
